This 46cm frame is made in Uganda with locally harvested bamboo and dyed bark cloth. It can fit people 4'10" (147cm) to 5'1" (155cm) tall on average. You can see from the photos that it has a variety of colors in the wrapping. Build this bike with gears or make it a simple one gear city slicker. The bamboo absorbs vibration exceptionally well and is suitable for the roughest of roads.
The frame is designed to be plenty stiff for the average sized rider of a given frame size. This one has horizontal dropouts allowing for derailleurs, singlespeed or internally geared hub use and is built with a brake bridge for standard reach caliper brakes.
